Our associate Felipe Neves Monteiro has just completed his master’s degree in Law and Legal Practice at PUC-RJ in early November. His dissertation was entitled “The Possibility of Extending Res Judicata to Third Parties in Multitudinous Capital Market Litigation”.
In the study, Felipe argues that res judicata formed in corporate litigation over indivisible rights, such as an action to annul a meeting, can be extended to third parties who did not participate in the process, provided that certain requirements are met, such as their adequate representation.
The full text of the work will be available soon, after its publication in book form, scheduled for next year.
