Bocater, Camargo, Costa e Silva, Rodrigues Advogados is pleased to announce the arrival of its new partner Mauricio Jayme e Silva. With extensive national and international experience in finance and capital markets, Mauricio will head up our new Financial Market Infrastructures practice.
Working closely with Bocater's Capital Markets practice, our new area focuses on advising stock exchange and over-the-counter market administrators, securities brokers and distributors, depositaries, custodians, registrars and other financial market infrastructures on matters related to operations, regulation, compliance and enforcement.
Before joining the firm, Maurício worked for more than 5 years as legal manager of BSM Supervisão de Mercados, the entity responsible for the inspection, supervision and enforcement of the securities markets managed by B3. During this period, he was also BSM's representative at the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), monitoring the best self-regulatory practices of administrators of organized securities markets, international regulators and self-regulators.
